Here we have a half finished drawing of one of my housemates from a realistic drawing workshop I did at uni. It's worth opening the image in a separate window if you can be arsed, because it's pretty detailed but you can't see it so well when the image is so teeny.
I bought some cheap coloured fine liner pens a little while ago, and I've decided that I like them a lot. Replacing the actual colours of things with different combinations of unsuitable bright colours is pretty fun, actually. They also bleed a bit if you add water, which is cool. And yes, the top drawing is of a rotting donkey... nice.
So here's a load of stuff from the last few weeks! Just random drawings and doodles from my head, ranging from some drawings I like a lot to silly scribbles and quick observational sketches.
Made using an air-brush set, masking fluid, pro-markers, a brush pen and fine liners. Liking this air-brush set a lot! This goes with the lemur I made before, they both look better in real life as you can see more of the detail.
Just some more recent sketchbook work, featuring some quick drawings of the late and great Bert Jansch, Bob Dylan, an old family photo, my housemates, boyfriend, on location sketches of Bournemouth and other such things.
